About the author

Piyush Goel (born 1967) also referred as Mirror Image Man by media, is an Indian writer, author, and world record holder, known for writing books in Mirror image style. Goel has set records in Limca Book of Records, Asia Book of Records, India Book of Records, Everest World’s Records, Unique World Records, and Miracles World Records.

In 2012, he set the record by writing World’s First Needle Book Madhushala of Harivansh Rai Bachchan by using needle in mirror image. Later, Goel entered it to the Unique World Records for writing Geetanjali of Rabindranath Tagore in mirror image by using henna cone.

Piyush has written several books in Mirror image, including Bhagavad Gita, Sundara Kanda from Ramcharitmanas, Sai Satcharitra, Durga Saptashati, Meri Ikyavan Kavitayein of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the former Prime Minister of India. He also wrote the World’s first Bhagavad Gita in mirror image, reportedly by Hindustan Times. Goel is the recipient of Holder Republic Award. Interviewer: Congratulations on the release of your book “Sochna to Padega Hi”, Piyush Goel Ji! Tell us something about your book?
Piyush Goel:
 Thanku you,”Sochna to Padega Hi” is my 4th book after “Ganith ek Adhdhayan”, “Easy Spelling & “Piyush Vaani”. Sochna to Padega Hi contains 110 Motivational thoughts of my own. I personally believe that even if a single thought can change someone’s than it will be God’s Blessing for me.

Interviewer: How did you start writing in “Mirror image style”? Tell us something about that, our readers might want to know.
Piyush Goel:
 Of Course, it is long back story when I was a kid I remember being told by my parents that I was very creative, I have always been that kid who tries to think out of the box. As I completed my Mechanical Engineering I got a job in Yamaha Motors, in the night shifts after completing my work, I always utilised time. I initially started with letters of English & Hindi, then gradually words and sentences. I used to ask my colleagues to dictate some sentences & tried to write them speedily that’s how I started writing in “Mirror Image”.

Interviewer: What period of your life do you find you write about most often? (child, teenager, young adult)
Piyush Goel:
 Well, I would say it’s a sweet conglomerate of my life’s experience at various stages whatever I have written or thought about for this book is what life told me/taught me throughout via this book, my prime objective would be to share my best of the experiences in brief to my readers. I hope you will like them and utilize them.

Interviewer: How would you like to define your journey as a poet? Be descriptive please so that our visitors know about your writing career a little more.
Piyush Goel:
 I am not full time Poet or Writer, basically I am Mechanical Engineer, being a Mirror Image Writer I have completed 16 books in Mirror Image, books are Shree Mad Bhagwad Gita, Madhushala, Gitanjali, Panchtantra, SaiSatCharitra, Ramcharitra Manas, Piyush Vaani. Every book which I wrote inspired me for the next one. Since 2003 to 2015 completed 16 books with own hand using Pen, Needle, Iron Nail, Mehandi Cone, Carbon Paper, Fabric Cone Liner.

Interviewer: Who are your favourite poets/ writers? And name one book that you like most among all the others you have read.
Piyush Goel:
 Prem Chand, Rabindra Nath Tagore, Maithili Saran Gupt,Jai Sankar Prasad, HariVansh Rai Bachchan

Interviewer: What other genres do you enjoy reading?
Piyush Goel:
 Mostly I enjoy reading Autobiographies, Biographies & Innovative Works but I also go for Comic Works sometimes.

Interviewer: What is your current goal in writing career?
Piyush Goel:
 As I have said earlier I am part time writer in future what happens God knows. Currently I just want my 4th Book “Sochna to Padega Hi” to inspire people and do well & be a part of best seller list and hoping to release two other books in coming years possibly.

Interviewer: Do you think someone could be a writer if they don’t feel emotions strongly?
Piyush Goel:
 Everybody has their own style of writing but I think a writer must feel strongly about their writings then only the readers will feel the same.

Interviewer: Any advice you would like to give to aspiring writers?
Piyush Goel:
 Yes…why not- be honest & be real to your readers one thing you should remember that whenever a thought or an idea clicks into your mind write it down somewhere immediately keep a note book always where you sleep near your pillow. I firmly believe ideas which came in night works.

 Thank you so much… Right now I am working on how to make English words remembered and a book of short stories let’s just hope for good I will keep doing my work.
